A Message From Our
NEW President
Dear fellow HOGS,
As the newly elected president of the Houston Outdoor Group, I would like to say thank you for your vote of confidence, I look forward to leading the HOGS to another great year of, fun and adventure. I also want to thank those individuals who have really given of their time and energy so we can all enjoy indoor & outdoor activities and the forging of new friendships. I have been involved with this group since the early ‘90’s and I look forward to working with, all of you so that we can, make the Houston Outdoor Group a great organization.
Many of you have already contributed great ideals for HOG outings and have committed to scheduling those outings throughout the rest of this year. We’re fortunate to have so many great places to visit or camp with many close to Houston for easy driving. We can revisit places from our past as well as explore new ones. Next year should be an exciting time for the HOGS as I have a few outings in mind that I would like to sponsor when the weather cools down a bit. Until then, let’s get ready for the fall and camping at some of the HOG’s favorite destinations.
I look forward to making the Houston Outdoor Group a more visible organization in the community, and I have some ideals I will share with the group at our next board meeting. Don and I are hosting our first board meeting August 25th at 7:00 p.m. and as always all HOG members are very welcome to attend.
